The Flamingo Kid

Jeffrey Willis, a Brooklyn kid who is dissatisfied with his humble surroundings, enjoys the otherworldly qualities of his summer work at the affluent Flamingo Club. He ignores his father in favor of smooth-talking Phil Brody's sponsorship, and he is tempted by Carla Samson's big bikini charms. But, after a couple of late-summer harsh lessons, the adolescent discovers that family always comes first.
