The Green Slime

A giant asteroid is heading toward Earth so a few astronauts disembark to dismiss up this. The mission is powerful, and they return to the channel bringing back a green substance that mutates in to tentacled monsters that feed power off. Soon the channel is currently crawling with them, and people are being zapped right and left!
