The Harder They Come

Ivanhoe Martin arrives at Kingston, Jamaica, looking for work also, after some initial struggles, lands a recording contract because a singer. He records his first song,"The Harder They Come," but after a bitter dispute using a manipulative manufacturer named Hilton, soon finds himself resorting to petty crime in order to pay the invoices. He kills some abusive cops copes marijuana and earns local folk hero status. Meanwhile, his record has been topping the charts.
