The King's Speech
The King's Speech Informs the Narrative of the man who became King George VI, Queen Elizabeth II's father. After his brother abdicates, George ('Bertie') reluctantly assumes the throne. Plagued by a stutter that is dreaded and believed to be king, Bertie engages the aid of an unorthodox address therapist called Lionel Logue. Through a group of methods that are unexpected, and as a consequence of an improbable friendship, Bertie is able to discover his voice and also boldly lead the country.
