The Life and Death of Colonel Blimp

General Candy, who is visiting an English group in 1943, is a veteran leader who does not have the respect of these men he's training and can be considered outoftouch with what's needed to win the war. Nevertheless, it wasn't always this way. Flashing back to his early career at the Boer War and World War I, we view a dashing young officer whose entire life has been shaped by three women, also with a friendship with a German soldier.
