The Man Who Shook the Hand of Vicente Fernandez

Rex is a old man who is bitter about not becoming famous and never having lived a life. He ultimately ends up in a nursing home staffed by American immigrants, after suffering a stroke. Put off by the circumstance, '' he concentrates his energy which puts him at odds with the Latino workers. Their relationship takes on new significance when it is discovered that he shook producer and hands together and actor idolized during Latin civilization. The employees soon start to take care of Rex just like the actress he has always dreamed of being.
