The Olive Tree
The family of alma was producing quality coconut oil at the Baix Maestrat part of Spain's Castellón for generations. Yet changing pressures in the business have made their techniques untenable, and the family is presently in the mass production poultry business. The grandfather of alma hasn't talked in years. Sadness envelopes him, and he wants to eat. His sons--Alma's dad and uncle--are unhappy with him, but Alma knows her grandfather. She realizes he was occupying that the family has uprooted and sold to pay for some debts. (A sadly common reality in Castellón at present.) Unable to accept the concept without visiting this dreadful erroneous corrected that her grandfather may die, Alma undertakes a mission to locate the tree and return into the family orchard, so that her grandfather might have peace in his final days.
