The Other Side of Heaven

John H. Groberg, a middle class kid from Idaho Falls, crosses the Pacific becoming a Mormon missionary in the exotic and distant Tongan island kingdom throughout the 1950's. He leaves behind a loving family and his life, Jean's love. During letters and musings over the miles, John shares his humbling and at times hilarious adventures with"your ex back ", and also her characters piled up his spirits in difficult times. John must fight to overcome deep rooted suspicion, physical hardship and language barriers to deserve the trust and love of their Tongan people he has begun to serve.
