The Return of the Soldier

Returning veteran Chris Baldry's memory has been ravaged by the atrocities of World War I. The soldier is so scarred that he doesn't recognize his own wife, Kitty, or recall their years together. Baldry seeks out the company of an old flame from his boyhood, Margaret Grey, as he tries to cope with the new surroundings of his own home. Jenny, his elder cousin, is attracted to him because of his forgetfulness.
