The Romantic Englishwoman

What is real and what is fiction? Equipped with his publication with writer's block, Lewis Fielding turns to a film script of a woman finding himself from baden-baden after his spouse Elizabeth returns. She didn't quite find herself there but experienced a brief encounter in a lift with a German who says he is really just a poet. Now the German is at England, gets himself invited to warm at which he says he admires Fielding's books. What type does he enjoy the best? "Tom Jones." Amused at being confused with all one Fielding, the novelist turns the German.
