The Sweeney

Based upon the'70s UK Television Series, The Sweeney is an police thriller from the director of Football Factory. Jack Regan (Ray Winstone), a hardened cop that doesn't play by the rules, is faced by a criminal out of his past. With sidekick George Carter (Ben Drew aka Plan B) they're put on the case of a jewellery store heist that ends in a killing. However, is that murdering an execution in disguise? With the fact that Regan is having an affair with the wife of that boss and pressure from his supervisor, for him to stand out of trouble, it's not going to be easy.
