The Taming of the Shrew

Baptista, a rich Paduan retailer, announces his fair young daughter, Bianca, will stay unwed until her older sister, Katharina, a hellish shrew, has wed.. Lucentio, a wealthy Pisan merchant's son and a student, has fallen in love. He presents as a mentor of poetry and music to be close Bianca also to obtain entry. Meanwhile, the Petruchio arrives in Padua, hoping to catch a wealthy wife. Still yet another suitor of Bianca, hortensio, directs Petruchio's attention. If Hortensio warns him about the scolding tongue and fiery temper of Katharina, Petruchio is challenged and resolves to catch her love. As he pursues Katharina another suitor of Bianca, Gremio and hortensio, accept cover Petruchio's costs.
