The Tempest

Prospero, a powerful magician, resides on a desolate island with his virginal daughter, Miranda. He remains in exile, eliminated from his duchy by his laying hold of brother and the King of Naples. Divine superintendence brings these enemies near; aided by his liege the spirit Ariel, Prospero conjures a tempest to wreck the Italian ship. The king's boy, assuming all others lost, becomes Prospero's prisoner, loving Miranda and also she with him. Prospero's brother as well as the king wander the island, as do an intoxicated chef and seafarer, that conspire with Caliban, Prospero's beastly servant, to murder Prospero. Prospero wants reason to accomplishment, Ariel wants his flexibility, Miranda an other half; the sailors want to dance.
