The Train

Since the Allied forces approach Paris in August 1944, German Colonel Von Waldheim is desperate to take all the best paintings of France into Germany. He manages to procure a train to transfer the art works as they are descended upon by the madness of escape. The French immunity wishes to avoid them from sneaking their treasures but have received orders from London which they are not to be crushed. Labiche, the station master, is tasked with making it all happen smoothly and scheduling the train but he is also part of a set of resistance fighters tasked with avoiding the theft. Others and he point an elaborate ruse to keep the train out of leaving French territory.
