The Wild Heart

After a disagreement and legal case between director Michael Powell and producer David O. Selznick, a re-editing of Gone to Earth (1950) occurred. Selznick's adjustments are primarily as follows:- Incorporating a prologue. Adding scenes that explain things, frequently by labeling or inscribing them. Increasing the number of close-ups of Jennifer Jones. Additionally, he cut other moments that he believed were not emotional enough. Regrettably, several of them were significant plot pieces, and as a result, the story does not make as much sense as the original.
