Twice Round the Daffodils
Gerald Thomas is the director of the British comic drama film Twice Round the Daffodils(1962), which also stars Juliet Mills, Donald Sinden, Donald Houston, Kenneth Williams, Ronald Lewis, Andrew Ray, Joan Sims, and Jill Ireland. The film was produced in the United Kingdom. A fresh batch of tuberculosis patients check into a hospital in search of treatment, and soon after their arrival, they all develop a crush on one of the nurses working there. The screenplay for the movie is based on the play Ring for Catty, which was written by Patrick Cargill and Jack Beale. Carry on Nurse, a play that was adapted into a film in1959, is based on the same play. Although the Carry On films and Twice Round the Daffodils share a number of cast members and production team members, the latter is not an official member of the Carry On series.
