When Pigs Fly
Marty (Alfred Molina) is a down-and-out jazz musician with vivid dreams of succeeding, but today he's surviving on the edge as well as making small money by providing songs lessons to people who do not seem to desire them. His occasionally sweetheart, Sheila (Maggie O'Neill), is a barmaid at the Rose of Sharon, a regional pub possessed by the hot-tempered Frank (Seymour Cassel). One day Sheila takes an old shaking chair out of the club's storage as well as gives it to Marty; he then finds that the chair is haunted by 2 ghosts, a middle-aged lady named Lilly (Marianne Faithfull) and a precocious little lady called Ruthie (Rachel Bella). Ruthie seems to be from the turn of the century, but Lilly is modern. These relaxed hearts appear to Marty as well as enliven his life with non-threatening tricks, however points transform significant when Marty discovers Lilly was Frank's wife, that killed her in a fit of craze. With the help of the temporal, the ghosts intend retribution.
