Whisky Galore!

Based on a real story. The name of the boat, that sunk Feb 5 1941 - during WWII - was S/S Politician. Having abandoned Liverpool two days earlier, heading for Jamaica, it sank outside Eriskay containing 250,000 bottles of whisky. The natives gathered as many bottles as they could, until the authorities came, every other year, and to day, bottles are located in the sand or even at the ocean.
