Why Do Fools Fall In Love

At the mid-80s, three women (each with a lawyer ) arrive on the job of newyork entertainment director, Morris Levy. One is an L.A. singer, previously of this Platters. One is really just a petty burglar from Philly. One teaches faculty in a tiny Georgia town. Each wants years of exemptions due to his estate, and each claims to be the widow of long-dead doo wop singersongwriter Frankie Lyman, money Levy has never shared. During an ensuing trial, flashbacks tell the story of the life of every one with Lyman, a boyish, high-pitched celebrity. Slowly, the 3 wives set their bond.
