Aidan Bloom, a struggling performer, husband and dad, is 35 years old but trying to find a purpose for his life. He and his wife are getting by financially with fantasizing about being and Aidan moves his time. As soon as his dad can't afford to cover private school because of both kids and the available public school relies on its last legs, Aidan agrees to try to homeschool them.
