Zombie at 17

Except for the loss of her older sister in a hit-and-run, Tia Scott, 17, has led a very typical existence. That is, until she begins to exhibit strange symptoms and realizes she has contracted a virus that is slowly turning her into a zombie. Desperate to find a cure, the only person she trusts is a recluse at school named Flynn, who bills himself as an authority on all things paranormal. But Tia's life is turned upside down when a friend of her boyfriend, Connor, is murdered. Tia is aware that Connor's friend Jason is involved, but reporting it to the cops makes her a target, and with the clock ticking down until Tia is too ill to recover, she enlists the assistance of her mother Kate and a reclusive doctor in the hope that they can stop the disease before Jason discovers she is the snitch.
