21 Jump Street
There were a total of 103 episodes of the American police procedural crime drama 21 Jump Street, which aired on Fox from April12,1987, to April27, 1991. Investigating crimes in high schools, colleges, and other places frequented by young people is the focus of the show's main cast of youthful-looking undercover cops. Since of the deconsecrated church building in which the unit maintains its headquarters, it was originally supposed to be called Jump Street Chapel, but Fox requested that it be renamed because they didn't want to confuse viewers. To bring their series to life, the duo behind it, Patrick Hasburgh and Stephen J. Cannell, teamed up with 20th Century Fox Television to create it. Hasburgh, Cannell, Steve Beers, and Bill Nuss were the four executive producers. Early success for the Fox Network's nascent network, the show was designed to appeal to a younger demographic. The final season aired mostly on Fox affiliates in first-run syndication. Later, it was shown on the FX cable network, where it was repeated from 1996 until 1998. Johnny Depp's burgeoning acting career was catalyzed by the series, which made him a national adolescent idol. Depp was irritated by this situation, but he was required to stay on the show by his contract and received $45,000 every episode. After the fourth season, his contract expired, and he was free to leave. In September 1989 to June1990, a one-season spin-off series based on Dennis Booker's character was aired. Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum starred in the 2012 film adaption.
