Agony
Agony is a British sitcom that aired from 1979 to 1981 on ITV. It starred Maureen Lipman being a agony aunt but my very personal life and marriage is a disaster. It was composed Andrew Nickolds, Anna Raeburn, Stan Hey and by Len Richmond. It was made for the ITV system by LWT.
Although a humor, Agony sometimes managed conditions that were regarded as taboo during that time such as drug use, racism, diplomatic, interracial relationships, and swinging, and was the very first British sit com to portray a homosexual couple as non-camp, witty, and intelligent and happy people. It periodically included storylines, also also openly mocked the ruling classes, the government, and religion.
