Are you able to suppress your feelings even when you are aware that something is wrong? Both Jiang Sheng and Liang Sheng had challenging childhoods, and the only person on whom they could rely for support was their other half-sibling, Liang Sheng. When they realize that their affections for each other go beyond those of a brother and sister, they each make an effort to repress those impulses because they are aware that doing so is unethical.
