Angry Boys
Angry Boys is a Australian television mockumentary series written by and starring Chris Lilley. Continuing the mockumentary style of his previous show, the show explores the problems faced by young men from the 21st century -- their own affects, their anxieties, their dreams and ambitions. In Angry Boys, Lilley plays with multiple personalities: S.mouse, an American rapper. A devout Japanese mum, jen. A winner, blake Oakfield. Ruth"Gran" Sims, a protector in a juvenile detention centre. And her grand children, South Australian twins Daniel and Nathan Sims.
The show is really a co-production involving US cable channel HBO along with the Australian Broadcasting Corporation along using a Pre Sale to BBC Three in the Great Britain. Filmed in Melbourne, Los Angeles and Tokyo, Angry Boys premièred in 9:00 pm ABC1 May 2011 on 11.
