Archie's Weird Mysteries

Archie's Weird Mysteries is an animated children's program that airs on television in the United States and is based on the Archie comics. The idea of the series centers around a physics experiment at Riverdale High School that goes bad, turning the town of Riverdale into a "magnet" for monsters from the genre of B-movies. The program is licensed under the stipulation that it satisfies the FCC's requirements for instructional and informational children's programming, and commercial stations in the United States use it to fulfill the needs of this guideline. The show, which was initially broadcast in the mornings on the PAX network and was produced by DIC Entertainment, typically featured infomercials at the beginning and end of each episode. As a method of adhering to the obligatory E/I standards that were in place during the subsequent season, its repeats were syndicated to television stations all over the United States.
