Bagpuss

Bagpuss is a British children's television series produced by Peter Firmin and Oliver Postgate's company Smallfilms from 12 February 1974 to 7 May 1974. "An old, saggy, cloth cat, baggy, and a bit loose at the seams," said the title character. Although only 13 episodes were produced, the show is fondly remembered and was regularly broadcast in the United Kingdom for thirteen years. Bagpuss was voted the UK's favorite children's television show in a BBC poll in 1999.
