Big Day
Significant Day, originally titled A Day in the Life, is an American situation comedy that aired on ABC in November 28, 2006 . The series was co-produced by Josh Goldsmith and Cathy Yuspa and led by Michael Spiller for Sony Pictures Television. Back in Canada, the series aired on CH channels and CanWest's Global.
Originally, it was supposed to launch October 5, 2006, together with Notes by the Underbelly, however, ABC made a last-minute shift on its program by moving Ugly Betty to Thursday, thus replacing both sitcoms whose"buzz" was perhaps not particularly promising.
Significant Day was aired on Tuesdays 8:00call. The time-slot was filled by another brand new sitcom that had a better"buzz," The Knights of Prosperity, however, ABC moved this program to Wednesdays to make Large Day important. According to the ratings, wedding day ended up to be a ratings disappointment.
Only 12 of the 13 produced episodes aired leaving the episode unaired, when Big Day ended its season on January 30, 2007.
On May 15, 2007,'' the show was cancelled by ABC after the network announced.
A film on the basis of the show was cancelled double in development. Back in 2010, a re-version of the movie adaptation is currently at Pre-Production.
