Captain Flamingo
Milo Powell's experiences are chronicled in the Canadian animated television series Captain Flamingo, whose protagonist is Milo Powell. The television series was produced by Atomic Cartoons, Breakthrough Films & Television, The Heroic Film Company, and PASI Animation. It debuted on YTV in Canada on February 7, 2006, and is also broadcast on Jetix, Nicktoons, and the ABC in Australia. News indicated that the series would launch on JETIX in the United States in 2007, but Toon Disney's updated schedule placed the premiere on January 28, 2008 at 8:30 a.m. Captain Flamingo was pulled from the Toon Disney schedule on August 12, 2008, but reappeared on September 2 at 5:30 a.m. Captain Flamingo has not been broadcast in the United States since the rebranding of Toon Disney to Disney XD on February 13, 2009. The age of the titular character is uncertain. He has no notable superpowers, only a desire to assist "little kids" in need. His "super powers" manifest themselves as novelty products, such as a whoopee cushion. Reruns are no longer broadcast on YTV, however they are currently broadcast on the Canadian Nickelodeon channel.
