Cat's Eye
Cat's Eye is a manga series written and illustrated by Tsukasa Hojo. It was serialized in Weekly Sh?nen Jump from 1981 to 1985, and collected into 18 tank?bon by Shueisha. The story follows the adventures of their three Kisugi sisters, Ai, Rui and Hitomi, who are art thieves seeking to get the works belonging for their father that is missing.
The manga was made to a anime show originally broadcast around NTV in 1983 to 1984, with another season ending in 1985. It has received two live-action adaptations. A television picture in 1997 in 1988 and also a theatrical film.
Cat's Eye is one of Weekly Sh?nen Jump's best-selling manga series of all time, with over 18 million copies sold. The anime has dipped in a number of countries outside Japan, for example China, and Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Philippines. ImaginAsian gave the show its North American home video release, and then broadcast the very first season of their anime ImaginAsian TV. Right Stuf Inc. announced they licensed the string at 2013 and release it on DVD under their Nozomi label.
A remake manga of this show introduced by Shingo Asai titled Cat's Eye, began publication in the launch issue of the Monthly Comic Zenon anthology, that premiered on October 25, 2010 of Coamix.
