Charlemagne

Charlemagne, le prince is a 1993 tv mini series about the life span of Charlemagne. It covers the time by the departure of the father, Pepin the Short at AD 768 on Christmas Day, AD 800 until Charlemagne's corronation as the first Holy Roman Emperor and consists of five episodes. However, there's a chronological anachronism: in an incident, we see the king of the Saxons surrender , Widukind and convert into Christianity, which did not happen until AD 803. This program based on the biography of Charlemagne written by Einhard, who knew Charlemagne and has been led by Clive Donner.
