Count Duckula

Count Duckula is really a children's drama, horror, comedy, animated tv series created by British studio Cosgrove Hall and a spin off from DangerMouse, a series in which the Count Duckula character proved to be a recurring villain. The series aired on 6 September 1988 and has been produced by Central Television for its series and Thames Television for three series. 65 episodes were created, and each about 22 minutes . Each of 65 episodes have been released to DVD in the UK, while the first series was published in the united states. Both the series and its characters are still to have a large following on the internet. The series has been a loose parody of the story of Count Dracula. Place in Transylvania, Duckula lives in a castle called Castle Duckula alongside his nanny that is large and his butler Igor. All the characters in the series are anthropomorphised birds.
