Dante
Dante is a NBC adventure/drama tv series starring Howard Duff a former gambler who also operates Dante's Inferno, as Willie Dante, a bay area nightclub. Alan Mowbray Co Starred the Maitre d', as Stewart Styles. Tom D'Andrea as Biff, Dante's"man Friday", also Mort Mills as authorities Lieutenant Bob Malone.
Dante claims to have placed his past behind him but has retained partners that are old Stewart and Biff. While his club remains valid, neither law enforcement nor the telescope consider he is truly done with the criminal underworld. Dante partners in crime continue appearing to lure him back to the underworld.
Dick Powell and Dante in eight episodes of the Four Star Playhouse compiled had played. There, Willie works an illegal gambling operation in the back room of their"Inferno", which authorities so on shut . The regular from the Four Star Playhouse version was Mowbray, who had first played a millionaire named Jackson who functioned as truly one of Dante's waiters and had gambled away his fortune.
