Family Feud
Family Feud is an American game show in both families compete against one another in a contest to name the answers to a questionnaire question. The show was made by Mark Goodson and Bill Todman in the USA, and now airs in several local formats worldwide.
Since its premiere in 1976, Family Feud has aired during 30 non-consecutive seasons. Richard Dawson in 1976 premiered on ABC and hosted the show until it had been cancelled in 1985, at which stage it had been widely popular and from syndication. The show enlarged until its cancellation in 1993 into an abysmal arrangement in 1992 along with also had been restored by CBS in 1988 with Ray Combs. Combs also hosted on the show that was syndicated when he had been substituted by Dawson for a single season, which enlarged before being cancelled in 1995. Later versions were hosted by Louie Anderson, Richard Karn, along with John O'Hurley. Since the 2010--11 television season, comedian/actor Steve Harvey has hosted Family Feud.
The show's ratings were said to have improved under Harvey. Family Feud's ratings were said to have improved the 40% from the last year back after John O'Hurley hosted. During the 2011--1-2 season, the fast-rising game show averaged a 4.0 and became the 5th highest rated show in every one syndication. As of the 2012--1 3 season, Family Feud has become the highest rated show in all daytime television programming. Back in 2013, TV Guide ranked it in its listing of the 60 game shows.
