Fifth Gear
Fifth Gear is a British motoring television magazine series. Originally revealed on Channel 5 in 2002 to 2011 and Discovery because 2012, the series is currently presented by Tiff Needell, Vicki Butler-Henderson, Jason Plato and Jonny Smith. Fifth Gear's rival series is the Top Gear of BBC Two.
Fifth Gear was initially broadcast on 8 since Gear, also as a continuation of this original incarnation of this BBC show Top Gearthat was cancelled in 2001. Top Gear has been relaunched. The BBC refused, although channel 5 originally required to carry on using the Gear name. A number of TopGear's ex-presenters, such as Quentin Willson, Tiff Needell, along with Vicki Butler-Henderson were hired by Channel 5 to present Fifth Gear. The series had been renamed as Fifth Gear in 2005.
Repeats of Gear also started being broadcast on UKTV station, Dave in April 2008 and on Discovery Turbo.
