Food Safari
Food Safari is the Australian television series first screened on SBS TV Australia featuring the many cuisines brought to Australia by its immigrants. Kismet Productions in association made the series with SBS TV Australia. Founded by Maeve O'Meara, cuisine is covered by each episode from a particular culture. Starting with ingredients that are widely used and the way to have these in Australia, moves onto the preparation and ingestion of basic dishes, popular favourites and desserts.
The series had been rested following the airing of the string with a spin off collection, Italian Food Safari, airing in 2010, presented by O'Meara and chef Guy Grossi in 2008. A second spinoff collection aired in 2011 and was presented by O'Meara and chef Guillaume Brahimi.
Food Safari was commissioned for a show and can reunite February 14, 2013.
