Get a Life
Find a Life can be just a tv sitcom which has been broadcast to March 8, 1992, in September 2-3, 1990. The show stars Chris Elliott being a 30-year-old paperboy called Chris Peterson. Peterson lived in an apartment above his parents' garage. The opening credits depict Chris Peterson delivering newspapers on his motorcycle into the show's theme song,"Stand" by R.E.M.
The show was a production of writer/director David Mirkin, Adam Resnick and also Elliott. Mirkin was producer/showrunner of this series and directed the majority of those episodes. Notable writers of this series comprised Charlie Kaufman. And Bob Odenkirk, co-creator of both Mr. Show with Bob and David along with Tenacious D.
The show was unconventional for a primetime sitcom, and lots of times the storylines of these episodes were surreal. As an instance, Elliott's character really expires in twelve episodes. The reasons for death included falling from an airplane, strangulation, being crushed by a boulder, older period, tonsillitis, stab wounds, gunshot wounds, getting run over by automobiles, sipping on cereal, and bursting. It was difficult for Elliott and also Mirkin to find the show on the air. Many of the executives at the Fox Network despised the show and also thought the personality of Elliott was too mad and it was too disturbing.
