Glitter
Glitter is an American television show broadcast by the ABC network throughout the 1984-1985 season.
The show was produced by Aaron Spelling and was put behind the scenes of a top entertainment magazine branded"Glitter" and attempted to unite the urgency of journalism and business politics with all the glamorous lifestyles of the rich and famous featured in the pages of the magazine. The leading cast members have been Arthur Hill, Morgan Brittany and David Birney.
This series' arrangement was similar. The Love Boat and Hotel, in that weekly that it heavily featured high profile guest appearances from stars, such as Cyd Charisse and Ginger Rogers. Glitter wasn't really a ratings victory. The very first three episodes aired in September 1984, when three episodes were displayed and the series was taken off the air until December 1984. Tests failed to improve and the show was cancelled. The eight episodes were displayed as part of ABCs line up throughout December 1985.
Glitter was sold abroad. It was revealed in the summer of 1985 on BBC1 in the UK.
