Gun is a American television anthology series that aired on ABC on Saturday night in April 12, to May 31, 1997 at 10:00 p.m Eastern time. Before being cancelled the show lasted six episodes, each directed by a well-known director. Each incident involves the pistol that is identical . The characters each event appeared unrelated to those that looked at different episodes and are different. The show was made by Robert Altman and brought recognizable celebrities including James Gandolfini in his first tv appearance, Kathy Baker, Carrie Fisher, Daryl Hannah, Randy Quaid, and Martin Sheen, as well as Fred Ward. The theme song was a cover of The Beatles'"Happiness Is a Warm Gun", performed by U2.
