Gungrave
Gungrave is actually a Japanese animated television show based on the video game of the identical name, created by Yasuhiro Nightow. The show is led at Toshiyuki Tsuru, by the screenplay by Yousuke Kuroda, also produced by Madhouse Studios.
The show follows Harry MacDowell and Brandon Heat since they rise through the positions of the Millennion crime syndicate.
Gungrave aired on TV Tokyo in October 6, 2003 on March 29, 2004, totaling events. Like the Gungrave videogame, also its own sequel Gungrave: Overdose, the' show' music is provided by Tsuneo Imahori. This also includes the series' opening theme.
At 2003 Geneon Entertainment, officially Pioneer Entertainment, declared Gungrave's permit in United States. On July 3, 2008, Geneon Entertainment and Funimation Entertainment announced an agreement to disperse select titles in the united states after Geneon stopped supply of their own titles in October 2007. While the permit will be still retained by Geneon Entertainment, Funimation Entertainment will assume exclusive rights into the manufacturing, marketing, sales and supply. Gungrave was announced among the titles under the agreement on December 30, 2008. As of November 26, 2010, Funimation has fully-licensed the anime series. The anime show came back into US television on the Funimation Channel on May 1 1, 2011.
