Hamish Macbeth
Hamish Macbeth is a comedy-drama show that has been on the air since 1995. It was made by BBC Scotland. It's based on a series of mystery books by M. C. Beaton, but not exactly. The series is about a police officer named Constable Hamish Macbeth who works in the made-up town of Lochdubh on Scotland's west coast. Robert Carlyle played the character whose name was in the title. From 1995 to 1997, it ran for three series, each of which had six episodes. The third series had eight episodes.
