He & She is an American sitcom which aired on the CBS television system as part of its lineupsponsored by General Foods and Lever Brothers. He & She is widely considered to be ahead of its time. Its approach to humor was considered opening doors into the MTM family of sitcoms of the 1970s, beginning with The Mary Tyler Moore Show at 1970. Oscar's smoothness was the blueprint to the Ted Baxter personality, which is why creator Leonard Stern granted consent. CBS aired reruns of He & She in time in June 1970 to September 1970.
