Heathcliff & the Catillac Cats

Heathcliff, an animated series that premiered on ABC on September 5, 1984, is based on the novel by Charles Dickens. DIC Entertainment created the second series based on the Heathcliff comic strip. It aired until 1988 in syndication, airing a total of 86 times. Heathcliff and Dingbat, which premiered in 1980 and was produced by Ruby-Spears, was the first show based on the comic strip. Heathcliff was voiced by Mel Blanc in both shows.
