Hippies
1969, swinging London. From his apartment in Notting Hill Gate, Ray Purbbs broadcasts an'underground' (which is, counter culture ) magazine, and Mouth, assisted by his fellow hippies Alex, Jill along with Hugo. Ray is passionate about demonstration, ludicrously enthused about every fashionable trend and confident that he's (or could be) a big player in the battle between the Establishment and the alternate society. A Lex - though he also comes from a wealthy background and seems more interested in golf - is coolness personified, a man he generally seems to exist outside reality. Jill embraces all the newfound liberty lent her sex and asserts to completely free love, though this attitude doesn't stretch for her'boyfriend'. Hugo is vague, almost glorious in his obliqueness. Led by Ray, the quartet comprehensively fail to make the slightest little difference they do and jump on every bandwagon that is fashionable. The gang are useless at all - in fact, they aren't that good at being hippies.
