I'm Alan Partridge is a BBC situation comedy starring Steve Coogan, with two series of six episodes each being produced between 1997 and 2002. Alan Partridge, whose escapades were parodied in Knowing Me, Knowing You with Alan Partridge, is currently hosting a radio program in Norwich. Both series were created by Peter Baynham, Coogan, and Armando Iannucci; Coogan was supported by Felicity Montagu as his devoted, mouse-like personal assistant Lynn Benfield, Simon Greenall as Geordie Travel Tavern handyman/BP garage attendant Michael, and Phil Cornwell as radio host Dave Clifton. It was nominated for three BAFTAs, two British Comedy Awards, and a Royal Television Society award, and has been warmly received by both critics and fans.
