Interceptor
Interceptor is a game show Developed Malcolm Heyworth, Jean Jacques Pasquier and by Jacques Antoine. It was produced by Chatsworth in association with Thames and shown with one episode shown about 1 for a New Year special and held straight back throughout the summer of 1989, to the ITV system. It was produced in between The Crystal Maze and Treasure Hunt, game shows from exactly the manufacturing company.
Former tennis player and Treasure Hunt sky-runner Annabel Croft hosted the series. The eponymous Interceptor was played with actor Sean O'Kane.
Interceptor was received by critics and audiences, yet just eight episodes were made. The series has something of a cult following, which impacted re runs on TV station Challenge. A public vote by UKGameshows.com in 2002 saw the series the UK's 13th best game series.
