Iron Man: Armored Adventures
The Marvel Comics character Iron Man serves as the inspiration for the animated television series Iron Man: Armored Adventures, which is a 3D computer-animated cartoon. It made its debut on April24,2009, on the Nicktoons network in the United States, and it has already begun running on the Teletoon network in Canada. Iron Man: Armored Adventures debuted on Nickelodeon on July4,2009, and ran for a total of 12 episodes until September12, 2009. Christopher Yost, who has also contributed to Wolverine and the X-Men as well as a wide variety of other Marvel Animation productions, serves as the showrunner for this series and is responsible for editing the stories. There is no connection between the animated film The Invincible Iron Man from 2007 and the television show; however, some elements of the story are similar, and the show uses the same musical score as the film in some instances. Although the voice cast is different, the show uses some of the same story elements. It is the first television series based on Iron Man since the original Iron Man, which ran from 1994 to1996, and it began broadcasting shortly after the popularity of the live-action Iron Man film. Tony Stark, a child prodigy who is now a teenager, is the protagonist of this series, which chronicles his exploits as Iron Man. As Iron Man, he puts his technological prowess to use by fending off enemies that are also well-equipped with superior technology. James "Rhodey" Rhodes and Pepper Potts, two of his trusted pals, accompany him on many of his bold and perilous journeys.
