Jason and the Argonauts

The movie is based on Jason and the Golden Fleece. Jason witnesses his uncle Pelias depose and kill his father when he's young. Jason returns home 20 years later to take his rightful role as king, but Pelias wants him beheaded. To rescue himself, Jason must go on a risky adventure to retrieve the famous Golden Fleece. So Jason collects a motley crew and sails on Argos. This Hallmark Production was a two-part miniseries starring Jason London and Jolene Blalock.
