Kidnapped

David McCallum stars as the rebellious Alan Breck Stewart, and this ambitious Sequential (a co-production between HTV along with Germany's Tele-Munchen) also features a Range of British character actors, including Bill Simpson, Patrick Allen, Andrew Keir, Patrick Magee and Frank Windsor. His comparative tries to murder him afterward has him sent off to be sold as a servant in the colonies when young David Balfour arrives to maintain his inheritance. Luckily he strikes up a friendship with Alan Breck Stewart, who is after Bonnie Prince Charlie's defeat at Culloden. After a boat's captain attempts to kill Breck because of his money, both set out to Edinburgh, dodging the callous red coats across the road and have the ability to get to property.
