Klovn
Klovn is a Danish sitcom that first broadcast on TV2 Zulu in Denmark. It revolves around Frank and Casper, the primary characters. The show's comedy is based on quiet everyday events, social awkwardness, awkward silences, and general gaffes. Many elements in Klovn are shared with Larry David's American sitcom Curb Your Enthusiasm, most notably the central concept of a semi-retired comic, his wife, friends, and famous acquaintances, facing amusing and embarrassing circumstances. The show is also arranged in a pseudo-realistic manner, which may lead a first-time viewer to question if it is real or not. The grade is also comparable. Despite this, Casper Christensen and Frank Hvam claim to have created the show from scratch in the closing credits. The sitcom spans six seasons and 60 episodes, each lasting 25 minutes. Between 23 February and 27 April2009, the sixth and last season of the show aired. Klown, a film based on the series and featuring an original plot, was released on December16, 2010.
